Overview
GBL is a prime contractor under the Naval Sea Systems Command sponsored SeaPort Enhanced contract.(SeaPort-e). SeaPort-e is a 15-year, multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide all aspects of professional support services required by the Navy's System Commands (SYSCOMs) including Naval Sea Systems (NAVSEA), Naval Air Systems (NAVAIR), Space & Naval Warfare Systems (SPAWAR) and Naval Facilities Engineering (NAVFAC) as well as Military Sealift Command (MSC), Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and their related Program Executive Offices (PEOs) and field activities.
SeaPort-e provides a vehicle to procure professional program management, engineering, logistics and financial management support services for authorized users through all phases of ship, aircraft, and weapon system life cycle— technology development, concept exploration, design, specification development, construction/production, test and evaluation, certification, operation, maintenance, improvement/ modernization, overhaul and refueling and salvage and disposal.
