In 2009 GBL Systems Corporation expanded their Research & Development (R&D) efforts to include patent pending products, focused around addressing new initiatives set in place by the Chief of Naval Research (CNR) for Office of Naval Research (ONR). This included the creation of two distinct DoD-centric services; which includes a B2B/B2G e-commerce engine, as well as a real-time proximity-based data delivery technology.

B2B/B2G E-Commerce Marketplace

Technology Consulting (CMTC), GBL recently completed a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) funded Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Government (B2G) Network Pilot Program, to deliver a  technology commerce system that supported the SoCal Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Program network. The MEP Program is an outgrowth of the U.S. Government policy to develop and deploy technology,  management and technical expertise for improving the competitiveness of manufacturing for small and medium-sized companies.

Electronic Combat Decision Support System (ECDSS)

ECDSS allows advanced intelligent agent teamwork and coordination of strike / support groups in achieving their missions in a complex physical, tactical, and electromagnetic environment with far less resources than previously required. The technology draws from Distributed Artificial Intelligence utilizing an intelligent agent’s framework and advanced EW visualization/decision aids.

Test Use Case Application (TUCA)

The TUCA project allowed GBL Systems to develop a prototype web-based application for user creation, submission, evaluation, storage, and retrieval of use cases by TRMC personnel.

Proximal Web™ Technology FutureOrb Application

The Proximal Web™ allows users to create, manage, and deliver custom created content that gets mapped to a physical location via wireless signal. The Navy Proximal Web™ technology specifically addresses Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) initiatives, by providing the development of mission based proximal training scenarios for the Navy.
